We are currently waiting for final approval of two new webOS applications. With any luck, they should show up in the Palm App Catalog sometime over the next couple of weeks. Here are some of the details.

Concert Finder allows you to find concerts going on around the country. You can search for specific artists or browse what concerts are going on in a particular city. The app allows you to keep track of favorite artists, view event photos, get directions to venues, purchase tickets and add events to your calendar. Concert Finder is powered by preAmped.com, the most comprehensive concert listing system. Concert Finder also allows you to browse album listings for artists and listen to song samples. Concert Finder will be offered as both a free, ad-supported application and a ad-free paid app for $1.99.

Tank Tracker allows you to keep track of the fuel efficiency of multiple vehicles. Just enter the date, odometer reading, how much fuel you purchased and how much you paid per gallon and Tank Tracker will show you several different statistics. It also provides charts of Mileage, Distance Driven and Fuel Costs over time. The app also features import/export functionality so you can both add existing data to the application and email yourself a backup of the records you have on the phone.

Was wondering how flexible Tank Tracker is with various volume and distance units. Ideally, kilometers/miles per vehicle, and gallons/liters per purchase.

Right now, Tank Tracker only supports a single type of unit at a time. If your phone is set to US English you will see Gallons/Mile, if your phone is set to Canadian English, it will display Litres/Kilometer.

Multiple unit types is definitely on the list for future enhancements though.

If I use the application in Germany I get Gallons/Miles. The right setting for Germany would be Liters/Kilometers.
I'm looking foreword to buy the app when this is possible from Germany. Right now we only see the free apps from here, so thanks for the demo on precentral
